Feeling hungry? Why not cook the colony?

This year we are taking a break from our annual banner painting for Invasion Day, and instead are offering one of our most iconic banners on a t-shirt that you can wear everyday.

Shirts can be purchased on pre-order up until 11:59pm on the 26th of January.

All profits from these shirts will go towards supporting two Aboriginal causes close to our hearts.

Taungurung Land and Waters Council have challenged an application to dam and divert the Rubicon River to power a private hydroelectric plant. They’re raising funds for ongoing legal costs and to protect Country.

Rubicon River damming successfully challenged by Traditional Owners, but river future still uncertain

Operating on Dharug Country, Merana is an Aboriginal organisation that provides services and runs programs and cultural activities to meet the needs of the Aboriginal community living in the Hawkesbury and surrounding areas.

For those looking for somewhere to paint banners for Invasion Day this year, we encourage you to head down to IRL Infoshop on Friday 24th or to Seventh Gallery on Saturday 25th for their drop-in collective banner painting events.

And be sure to head to the Invasion Day rally closest to you - in Melbourne it’s at Parliament House at 10am.

Big thank you to Gildan Brands Australia for generously donating t-shirts, Antifuture print for donating their services and to BARE for letting us take over the bare shop (R.I.P).

This is a limited run so get in quick!

Stay deadly & get cooking xx
